We are hiring for a ServiceNow Business Analyst for a security services company. The ServiceNow IT Business Analyst (BA) partners with business departments to gather business requirements, define & document business processes, participate in process design, business process optimization and support all phases of software development. Additionally, you will serve as the Scrum Master for the team, ensuring impediments are removed and deliveries are on target.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and document current business process as and when needed.
  • Plan, schedule and facilitate working sessions to collect, clarify, analyse, and translate business requirements into user stories
  • Document detailed user stories and epics with acceptance criteria in collaboration with client team
  • Implementation, administration, and support of the ServiceNow platform
  • Perform Testing on each story and identify defects before the update sets are deployed for UAT
  • Coordinate UAT Defects and drive development Team to close the defects asap and suggestions
  • Identify system glitches and provide best practices and suggestions based on Test.
  • Develop training documentation and materials
  • Deliver training to key stakeholders and end users
  • Analyses increasingly complex systems specifications of existing programs to determine requirements.
  • Communicates effectively with internal stakeholders and management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-4 years supporting and consulting experience with ServiceNow implementations (ITSM, ITOM)
  • 2+ years of hands-on (functional) experience with ServiceNow
  • 1-2 years working on an Agile environment in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience delivering training both in train-the-trainer and end user scenarios
  • Outstanding attention to detail and ability to organize information
  • Good hands-on experience on Visio, Excel and PowerPoint for building workflows and
  • Applied experience in the design and deployment of these ITIL areas:  Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, CMDB and Asset Management.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced in implementation of ITSM solution using industry best practices
  • An understanding of SDLC approaches and methodologies (e.g., Agile Scrum, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Experience in ServiceNow CSM is helpful but not mandatory.
  • ITIL Foundation (v3) certification
  • ServiceNow CSA certification
