JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Remote/ need to be available to be on calls with UK and Lisbon time zones sometimes

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

• Responsible for Defect Management by overseeing defect end-to-end lifecycles and act as the main liaison between the teams as well as both internal and external organizations

• Triage defects by assigning appropriate priority, determining ownership of the defect, and routing the defect to appropriate resource

• Lead defect triage calls with key leads and business stakeholders with clear view on defect status with actionable outcomes

• Maintain absolute integrity of the defect ecosystem in JIRA and ensure all changes to defect status are within the guidelines of the defect management process

• Collaborate with PM/Dev/QA teams to maintain awareness of monthly release schedule, new code changes, bug fix scheduling and retesting to drive defects’ resolution and closure

• Initiate and manage escalation process for any outstanding defects with leadership team

• Identify and implement process & tool improvements for defect prevention and/or to improve defect resolution times

• Regular review of overall defects to determine/assess impact to overall project plan and deployment schedule

• Assist in defining appropriate defect metrics to measure overall defect management program in delivery, productivity and efficiency.

• Proven work experience in building Defects Reporting Dashboard by leveraging analytics toolsets like Tableau and/or PowerBI

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 

• Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Technology, or Data Analytics is a must

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a project manager/scrum master, with expert knowledge in SDLC and Agile methodology

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to engage with various stakeholders within the organization

• Capable to lead and steer defect management meetings to achieve actionable outcomes

• Server as a gatekeeper and be proactive in identifying and clearing obstacles that may delay the defect resolution process

• Strong self-starter, able to consistently deliver without requiring significant oversight and direction.

• Ability to adapt and learn from extended team members and establish strong relationships with cross functional teams

• Ability to explain technical processes and articulate knowledge of the defect management process to a wider audience

• Good practical knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and Atlassian JIRA

• Experience working in media industry is preferred

• Scrum Master/PMP certification is a big plus

Technology Asset Management Specialist

We are seeking to fill an IT Hardware Asset Specialist for a major media and broadcasting company in New York City. This role will support all company locations globally. A multi-disciplinary position, the IT Hardware Asset Specialist will assist in life cycle management of Enterprise End User computing hardware assets (computers, servers, networking gear, cell phones, etc) including inventory tracking, data capture and TAM database maintenance. Will be part of a larger team that is responsible for Global Technology Asset Management within a very large and acquisition heavy organization.

REPONSABILITIES

  • Work primarily with Hardware Asset Management, discovery, and Service Catalog Management.
  • Partner with IT Stakeholders to optimize Hardware Asset Management database.
  • Maintain accurate and complete data for all end user computing hardware assets owned/leased by the company.
  • Create and maintain regular audit schedules for hardware as needed to maintain accuracy within the IT Asset repository and PeopleSoft inventory management systems. Capture and prepare asset data to be loaded into the asset repository for all lifecycle phases from procurement through retirement.
  • Populate the asset repository with missing legacy data as appropriate.
  • Create/review/update Hardware Asset Management policy and process documents to ensure accuracy/completeness.
  • Assist with enforcing current state processes and policies.
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on hardware asset data accuracy and work with accounting to ensure ITAM asset data matches accounting asset data. Includes reporting on asset deployment, reclamation, and data accuracy.
  • Work directly with the Global IT Asset Manager to complete daily activities for all ongoing IT Asset Management requirements and projects.
  • Collaborate with Configuration Management to ensure that the CMDB and asset repository are sharing the appropriate data points and troubleshoot any data sharing issues.
  • Coordinate with Desk Side Support teams to ensure data is being captured in the Asset Management repository correctly
  • Must be able to move/lift boxes of computer equipment not more than 50 pounds Demonstrated ability to manage an asset inventory and reconcile data, ensuring high levels of accuracy
  • Strong interpersonal skills, requiring a balance of assertiveness, tact and diplomacy Works well independently and on teams Must have a strong willingness to take initiative and drive change

DESCRIPTION
Sr. Technology Project Manager V needs candidates to be local to LA area

  • Manages large and/or multiple projects with significant impact on business processes and technology used firm wide. Influences strategic direction and develops tactical plans with substantial latitude. Provides comprehensive solutions to complex problems and has extensive contact with internal clients and the business.
  • Manages complex projects from proposal and requirements definition to project planning and implementation, using broad and extensive input from industry and/or business unit subject matter experts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts preliminary investigation for all project requests by reviewing requirements and specifications and testing and by reviewing support and training plans to ensure they are aligned with organizational priorities, business plans and objectives.
  • Provides a proactive interface between project stakeholders and senior management team to ensure complete and accurate definitions of business requirements and delivery of business applications.
  • Identifies, defines and documents complex business and technical requirements, processes and deliverables.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 9+ years experience
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or applicable degree and seven years of experience including: project management, enterprise implementation, leadership experience, strategic planning, business acumen, applications development, and change management or combination of education, training and experience.
  • PMP or equivalent certification highly preferred. Knowledge of the following: o Application development and project life cycle methodologies and standards.
  • Project selection and approvals; budgeting and business case preparation and analysis; and project initiation and planning, including work breakdown structures and forecasting.
  • Concepts of risk management, issue tracking, change management and requirements gathering.
